The Apple Management Tool For A Uniform Harvest
Getting the right start with apples is important.
For young trees, you can use Dormex® growth regulator for apical dominance suppression to achieve the desired framework for the trees. For bearing trees, you can compress the bloom period to a few days depending upon the weather with Dormex. Increased budbreak uniformity will also facilitate chemical thinning of fruit and promote greater uniformity of fruit maturity at harvest.
Dormex can help you manage your crop better from the beginning of the season to the end, for greater “Fruitiformity”. It can help you condense your harvest and harvest earlier.
This management tool is a budbreak stimulant promoting more uniform normal and/or earlier budbreak even when the maximum chill hour requirements are met. While it’s not a substitute for chill hours, an application of Dormex will stimulate more uniform bud emergence following a minimum amount of chilling.
To promote more uniform budbreak, after all pruning activities are completed, apply Dormex 30 days before normal bud swell, or 35 days before normal bud break. For complete details, consult the Dormex label.
